Lyta, Fox, and the unnamed non-soldiers...

I am not sure how our night ended, but I will not be joining you again. The previous night, whatever happened, was crowded, poorly planned, and overall entirely inefficient, and nothing will be accomplished if it is tried again.

However, an explanation of how I ended up in my room again would be appreciated.

Can't offer you an explanation, but I can tell you it happens every night. After the intercom sounds, just prepare yourself to wake up in bed no matter where you were.

Is the length of the night known, or does that change?

I think it varies? I'm not really sure. Some nights I seem to get a lot done and others, I barely get outside my door and it's over. I've only been here for a couple of days though, so maybe someone who has better knowledge can help you.

Yeah, it varies, and not just at night, either. Daytime tends to be more stable, but the same effect can occur. Timing is just screwed up here. It's a bitch to keep track of, if not damned near impossible.

Don't expect much of by way of explanations for any of the shit that goes on around here, though. No one's managed to figure anything out yet.

Efficiency is important, and too many of us seem to be tripping over one another's artistic efforts.

By your writing, you clearly have a strong military background. Although it will likely not be similar in the world I come from, I still am curious: where did you serve, and in what capacity?

People here are from different worlds... some are from different versions of Earth where events occurred differently, other people are not from Earth at all.

As to last night, indeed, it wasn't done very well. Though this place tends to mess with plans, and time acts strangely here.

The planning part... it had originally been planned for myself and Envy to accompany Lyta out to the pond, the night before, we made it to the water but the night ended before Lyta could accomplish her mission.

I am not sure why we did not have enough time, though I suspect this place wants to keep us out of the water. I will be with Solid Snake tonight, we have something to do that has been put off while I helped Lyta. If you want to be more efficient, go by yourself, I got the most done that way.

However, we should speak sometime, I'm interested in the arts and crafts project you have going on.

I should be easy to find. 4'4", white hair, green eyes. I have a meeting during lunch, but will otherwise try to be available. If I am indisposed you can also speak to Vice Captain Abarai Renji.

I've actually met Renji before. I'll keep an eye out for you, though.

Let's just say I have a hunch that there might be something useful down there.

Of course, I would have liked the details of what I was trying to do not posted publicly where the staff can see. Attention drawn to exactly where someone's going to be? Not a good thing.

You're correct, it's best not to speak of matters directly on this forum.

On the most simple terms, everyone seems to come from different places, different times, and often what could only be considered different timelines.

It's difficult to explain here, because it's wise not to talk too much about what's really going on while on this board. If you would like to know more, myself (Hitsugaya TOshiro), Matsumoto Rangiku, Abarai Renji, Hinamori Momo, or Kuchiki Rukia could all explain the situation.
