It might not be a thousand, it's some stupidly big number. Either way, crazy people.

I'll say. I think I would have been fine not knowing there were that many people calling themselves Jedi, actually.

(For the record, and you might not need this, they are not actually Jedi. They're just freaks.)

I don't see the appeal. I saw the original three, they were okay, but not something I'd base my life around.

(I know. I just don't really think identifying yourself with a fictional cult is the best life choice)

I grew up with the first one, it was all we had.

I watched them when I was a kid. Never caught the new ones.

I've only been told about the other ones. I never quite figured out why anyone liked the Rebels or Jedi, personally.

Me neither. Darth Vadar's a badass, Luke was annoying.

Leia was kinda hot, though. Maybe that's what gets people into it.

People dig the evil guy with the cool powers. He makes a much better mascot for Jedi than Luke.

Or [pen mark, was trying to remember the name] Kenobi. He wasn't the most truthful or consistent person.

Kenobi was the old guy, right? He died off right at the beginning, not a great role model.

Yes. Dying, among other things, is not good role model behavior, obviously.

On the other hand, it worked pretty well for Jesus.

And a lot of war heroes.

I don't really get people taking inspiration from movie characters anyway. Get something real, y'know? There's enough fake stuff in here that I want to read a nice history book to get the dullness back in.

My CO was a much better role model than anything else.

I mean, I'm not prying, your records are your own stuff, but they probably should at least tell you what meds they're feeding you.

I have asked, but they didn't tell me anything helpful. Only that I was 'recovering'.
