I figured as much.

It's fine...I just hung out with a friend. Had there been nail polish handy, it would've been a regular girly sleepover, giggling and in-depth debate over which tampon brand "absorbs" best, and the whole nine yards.

My leg...is better. Sort of. These freaks HAVE to be using materia...there's no way that a stab wound could heal so quickly otherwise. I'm a little slower than normal, but I'm getting around.

I wouldn't exactly call it "healed." Just better. It's stiff and sore and tender as hell, but I can put weight on it. If they're using materia, it isn't very high-level stuff. (Maybe they're using my materia? I had a low-level Restore equipped when I was pulled here)

I think they just want to be in semi-working order so that you can continue to play their sick little games. Valentine was the one who told me about the speeded-up healing...said that Highwind had chest wounds that healed a lot faster than they were supposed to. I didn't really believe him until this morning.

They might be using something else, too. I'm thinking our world isn't the only one with stuff that can speed up healing.

I think they are. Most people...under Special Counseling are given orders to hurt, not kill. I actually ended up healing someone when he got shot in the gut. I really don't know what kind of sick stunt they're pulling, but they want us alive and more-or-less intact for it.

And yeah, he is. I don't know why...but he is. He seems to have grown something of a soft spot for me. Or as soft a spot as he can ever develop towards another human being, at any rate.

I know. No orders to capture, either. Like there's no real purpose to any of it.
