It depends on the day, the circumstances and how pissed off I am.
We already know that place doesn't have our real stuff in it. Why would you want to keep around a bunch of crap that's there just to make a mockery out of who we really are?
My apologies. I hadn't realised you'd taken the time to check every single item in the area and cross reference it with others in order to ascertain how much of it was 'real' or not to the owners, then put it to others to see how they felt about keeping a 'bunch of crap' that may or may not hold emotional significance.
I'm not quite sure how I managed to miss a project of that magnitude, but clearly I must have for you to be so certain about this matter.
...someone save me from neanderthals with pyromania.
This isn't just about my own items you realise. What if others have possessions, even ones that seem useless, that they'd like back? What gives you the right to decide that?
It never belonged to us in the first place. It's conjured up, just like the damn names the nurses call us and all that other shit about us supposedly being bugfucknuts.
What you should be asking is what gives the people running this damn place the right to snatch people we care about out from under our noses and leave us wondering what the hell happened to them? Give us hope, a second chance with someone we love, only to have that crushed just like everything else? What gives this place the right to torture us and make us experience death for no known reason other than to fuck with us?
Dying once was enough for me. I didn't need to go through it again. You can't reason with me - not tonight. Don't waste your time.
Please see sarcastic argument re: the likelihood of you having cross referenced the relevance of every item in that location. It's only a few notes up, I'm sure even you can manage.
And even assuming that nothing in that room is 'real' (and ignoring the obvious problems about defining reality in this place), some things can still give people emotional support and hope, regardless of how accurate it is. Is an image of a loved one less important to someone if the name assigned to them is different?
So, I assume you're feeling upset after last night among other things, and your method of dealing is... property destruction? As I said; neanderthals with pyromania. You're hardly the only person to have had bad experiences here.
But still, my argument stands. You're far from the only person to have had that experience. And destroying items, regardless of their meaning, isn't going to change anything.
