I understand that there have been several notes regarding the events of last night posted already. However, I would greatly appreciate it if those of you who experienced something would answer a few specific questions for me to aid my investigation.

Did you experience anything before the incident?: Voices, images flickering, etc. As detailed as possible.
Did you see a ‘ghost’?:
What relation was this ‘ghost’ to you?: Lover/ sibling/ parent? ‘Loved one’ will suffice if you wish to remain ambiguous.
Did you ‘die’?:
Was the cause of death significant to you in any way?: Specifics would be appreciated, but ‘yes’ or ‘no’ would suffice.
The next thing remembered after the ‘death’:

Anonymity will be respected and notes will be removed once I have read them.

Oh this is a good idea. I'm getting co confused.

Did you experience anything before the incident?: I felt like there was always someone watching me. And later I started to see things, then hear a voice.
Did you see a ‘ghost’?: I think so. I saw a shadow, I guess.
What relation was this ‘ghost’ to you?: The voice belonged to a friend.
Did you ‘die’?: I think so. I'm not sure. I kept blacking out.
How did you ‘die’?: Suffocated.
Was the cause of death significant to you in any way?: My friend had suffocated. This is being taken down right? And anonymous. It's just. My friend suffocated and... I was nearby. I wanted to help, but I wasn't allowed and it was too late and- I think maybe this is punishment for letting her die.
The next thing remembered after the ‘death’: Waking up.

Not making an effort? Excuse me? [arrow is drawn over to this post (http://community.livejournal.com/damned_bulletin/550716.html)]

Sorry I didn't think asking people traumatic personal questions about their own death was all that pertinent!

And what about this? It's not that no one is making efforts, it sounds like you're just too lazy to look for them.[another arrow drawn to this post (http://community.livejournal.com/damned_bulletin/549521.html)]

Yeesh. Anyway, I'm compiling the data I've already retrieved and planned to share any findings with the general populace. Try not to make such big assumptions if you haven't read the board carefully!

[Ack, sorry for double post. Link fail. D: ]

She's right. This is redundant, unnecessary, and a pain in the ass for people who don't feel like saying or reading the same thing a dozen times.

It you paid any attention when you read the other notes, the answer would be obvious. I can see it, and I'm not even the mystery solving type. If you want to nitpick details, why don't all of you secretive investigator types try sitting down and comparing notes instead of running a bunch of troublesome private investigations? This junk only makes you look less trustworthy.

No one's going to tell you anything more than they've told anyone else, anonymity or no.

[identity profile] toobothersome.livejournal.com 2009-09-30 06:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Whatever. I'm not arguing this. Just don't expect many responses, especially not like this.

[identity profile] see-my-back.livejournal.com 2009-09-30 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Ugh, whatever. At least you fixed it. Maybe location is irrelevant, maybe it isn't. What if some of what happened was brought on by hallucinogen? Or Neuro-toxin? That sort of thing could be spread through air vents and might only have effects on certain blood types or other factors. While there's no proof that's what happened, confirming location and comparing it with what else we know IS helpful. I'm not saying it's my only theory, but at least figuring out if it is or isn't a valid one is helpful. I'm TRYING to look for patterns too, okay?! Geez.

It could just as easily be some kind of low-level broadcast or something. Sound can have a huge effect on mind and body. In which case location would also be important as they would either be nearby one of the announcement boxes or decreasing/increasing from the point of origin of the broadcast. See what I mean?

Anyway... yeah, the other person pretty much said what I was going to.

Nothing that needs to be discussed really. I'll be posting any information I find out about on the bulletin, so just watch for it I guess. I hope you'll do the same.

1. After the first Creeptastic Intercom Opera, the walls started going all weird. Sometimes it looked like there were doors where there weren't, or walls where there were doors. Sometimes it was like a whole other corridor was intersecting the one I was walking through. Most of the time, it looked like there were bits of old piping sticking out.

Whenever I actually tried to focus on it, everything looked peachy-keen again.
2. After a while, the visions changed. Can't say if the walls were still glitching all over the place, since we'd jumped the wall by then. That's when I first started seein' a ghost. Again, if I tried to really look at it, it vanished. The voices started a bit after this.
3. Friend.
4. Seems like it, yeah.
5. Very.
6. Waking up just in time to get my stuff in order before breakfast, as always.

1. Yes. The same as this. [An arrow has been drawn to Yuffie's response.]
2. Yes.
3. My mother.
4. Yes.
5. Yes. I 'died' of the disease that killed my mother.
6. Checking myself for injuries I had sustained before my 'death'. They were still there.

1. No, I experienced nothing of that sort.
2. Yes.
3. ...best friend and comrade.
4. Yes.
5. Yes. I died the same way he did, by a copious amount of small arms' fire.
6. Waking up as though nothing had happened. No injuries or anything.

I saw two ghosts, but I didn't die or hear anything weird.

1. I begun to see strange images shortly after night fell: usually skeletons or the odd door that disappeared when focused on.
2. Yes. Just before "dying," the image appeared: they disappeared as well when I looked too hard.
3. Mothe A childhood friend.
4. Yes.
5. I felt like I was stabbed without having been: the friend died in that exact same manner, having been pierced in the chest by a spear.
6. Waking up this morning.

I don’t think it’s troublesome to answer these sorts of questions more than once. I hope this can help.

1. I also saw flickers of things from the corners of my eyes, but I didn’t pay it much attention.
2. Yes.
3. Sibling.
4. I don’t know. Night ended for me soon after the wound appeared.
5. Yes. It was the same one this sibling died from.
6. I woke up.

Before: the intercom was taking death metal to new heights depths. And a few visual glitches -- thought it was sleep deprivation but that's usually more blur and fewer digital artifacts.
Ghost: Yes. My mother.

I passed out -- don't know if anyone can confirm I flatlined it. Same thing she had -- hepatic angiocarcinoma. AKA liver cancer. Next thing I knew it was morning, like any other night.
