You specifically need a healer when all of those from your world are capable of it? Because that is the purpose I need him for within my group; I have none who are able to heal, either themselves or others.

If you discussed it, then he is aware of it, and free to make his own choice. Unless you are unwilling to let him.

While some from our world are capable of healing to a small extent, Yamada-san is our only expert. It goes without saying that as his comrades we respect his will. I understand your circumstances, but make no mistake, he is not some tool for anyone's exclusive use.

Yet that isn't what his assignments within your group have focused on, which is why I approached him in the first place.

For someone who claims to respect his will, you were quick to speak for him on this notice--as if he were indeed for your exclusive use. You said yourself that you had discussed your plans with him. If he chooses to do other activities, then why speak at all?

Hanatarou was unsatisfied with how he was being used by your group. I offered him a role that better fulfilled his sense of purpose. Acting against that is something I wouldn't expect of you, Hitsugaya.

He's obviously made his decision, and I would hope you'd allow him to continue to do so in the future, even if it doesn't fall in line with what you'd like him to do.

Earlier assignments might not have focused on his expertise, but then again, I wasn't here at that time.

I can see how my words might be misconstrued in that manner, but I was merely reminding him of our earlier discussion because I was concerned that he might have forgotten.

While I may not know much about you Homura, you also shouldn't presume to know anything about me, because if I were to start make baseless assumptions about you, it almost sounds like you're trying to manipulate him. I do not want to fight with you, because infighting does not benefit any of us, aside from the staff.

As I mentioned earlier, I will respect his decision, so long as he does not forget his normal duties.

The kid is free to make whatever decision he wants, regardless of what his normal 'duties' entail. He isn't bound by the rules of your world here.
