Greetings patients of Landel's Institute. My name is Leon D.S. Geeste, and I have recently become another member capable of creating fine toys to help everyone entertain themselves at night. Metal toys, to be precise. They require a certain skill to play with properly.

If you're interested, I will be starting a sign-up sheet. So as not to overwhelm myself, I will be allowing no more than five people to sign up at once. I will post a reminder on the bulletin each day and ask that the patient whose turn it is next reply to it before dinner. If they don't, their opportunity will be forfeit and I'll use the evening for other endeavors.

Please respond here with questions and a star next to your name if you want a toy crafted along with your reasoning for wanting said item. I reserve the right to deny requests based on this reasoning or based on how you conduct yourself when we arrange to create it.

I can't guarantee I'd be able to create a whole lot of them, so if you planned on throwing them you'd want to retrieve them afterward if you could.

I'm actually one of a group of people, all very trained in the use of certain toys. We've been making due with things we've found so far, but having the real things would be hugely beneficial--particularly since any of us could use them, if needed.

My reason for wanting them is simple. Games get rough around here, and I want my people to be able to protect themselves as best they can.

Thanks for doing this. I can't imagine it's easy, especially if it involves special talents.

Last night I was badly injured. It was not because of a lack of weapons, but I realized that I'm going to need to be prepared. I want to be able to protect myself and my friends, if they ever show up.

It's a bit different from what I'm used to doing in my world, but not dissimilar enough that a little studying couldn't put me on the right track. I'm still only handling basic metals, though.
