I've heard rumors of a third floor.

Does anyone have information on it, or how it's reached? Anything is appreciated.

I'm pretty sure I remember gettin' dragged up there on the night I had special counselling. That's all I've got, though. Those sedatives were a bitch.

Funny, I was just talking to someone about this. There was something on the board about it being Brainwash Grand Central. But it wasn't me.

You can't reach it through the outside windows. I couldn't get them to break. Also, climbing the side of the building tends to disturb the nasty birds that live up on the roof. But there's definitely a third floor.

What did you try to break them with?

Just gave it a few good kicks and tried with a stick too, but I think It was reinforced with something. It wasn't budging.

Do any of you possess abnormal strength?

Any of us? Just me, sorry. And my strength is pretty average, nothing special to note. You can give it a shot if you like, but I don't recommend it. I tried the stairwells too, but so far none of them go up that high.

That's a funny story actually... there was some plastic furniture out on the patio and we tied bedsheets to it and flung it up as a sort of anchor. It worked just fine and caught the edge of the building. It was sturdy enough to hold my weight too. It just also managed to wake up the nest of birds that were asleep on the roof.

Great minds think alike. I was wondering about this just a little while ago too. Third floor and basement both seem like places I want to check out. They're the only places that make sense to me when I think about where Landel (or Landel replacement??) might be hiding.

Well they do say Landel's been spotted in the basement, so I don't know if we should count it out just yet. You're right that the third floor sounds better because we know less about it, though. That's kind of what I'm leaning towards. I think I'm going to look for some more clues about that tonight if Cooking Club doesn't post any assignments.

There are some locked doors on the second floor. Theory is they're the main way in. A couple of people are looking to get some explosives to blow the suckers open.

I'm also involved in this effort, and willing to go fetch whatever items are necessary for someone with demolitions skills.

I've just talked to my compatriot Admiral ZEX, who was organizing some of the investigations a few days ago. Apparently he has a list of materials offered by someone willing to assist with the plan, although I don't know who it is or when ZEX obtained it. I'll give an update tomorrow once we've had a chance to go over it.

I'm with this. I've been occasionally helping out with gathering chemicals and equipment.

I've been wondering the same thing. It seems that the patients who get brainwashed at night are taken up there, but I haven't heard of anyone getting up there other than that.

[identity profile] thirdboywonder.livejournal.com 2009-08-31 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
You're right.

[identity profile] remnantsofflame.livejournal.com 2009-08-16 01:05 am (UTC)(link)
A few nights ago, a group I was with tried to get up there through the locked doors on the second floor. We were unsuccessful. We were also attacked that night, though I never saw what attacked us.

Did any of those doors have stars on them? Maybe they're subspace routes they don't want us using.

What? No, they're just normal doors. Why would they have stars on them?

I dunno. Some doors have stars on them, and they go places. My girlfriend uses them all the time.

I've never seen a door here with a star on it.

Good to know, at least. Sucks, though. Those routes are pretty useful shortcuts to wherever you need to go.
