And I'm going to make a really wild out-there guess that you're not familiar with The Mercenary War, right? Although it's hardly on the scale of those conflicts you mentioned that I recognised.

The ongoing nature of the Brush Wars was a result of the political tensions of the Cold War. It is interesting that you would be familiar with one, and not the other.
