Last night was GIGANTINORMOUS MESS, so it's extra important that you respond to this today, guys! Lemme know you're still breathing, or I'll hunt you down myself.

Familiar and double familiar. This is startin' to sound more like Shinra by the second. Er, it depends; there was a big mixture in the last big battle I was in. We had our machines, the enemy had theirs, but I was still using my shuriken and I know Cloud had his sword. Good thing machines don't stand a chance against us AVALANCHE guys! Oh, and there's always materia, too, but these days we try not to use too much of that.

Makes two of us. Yeah! It's gonna be fun. Say, whaddya think about forests?

Oh, huh. There's really no way to fight against the machines in our world without another machine, I'm sorry to say. If there was, my country might still be independent.

Forests? They're pretty cool, I guess. That's most of what's out there, right?

That bad, huh? I know what you mean. Wutai lost against Shinra 'cause we didn't have the technology to combat theirs. But since all that stuff is lame and horribly emo, I'll say that at least technology has its bright sides! Like cell phones. And maybe airships, except they suck. Seriously, seriously SUCK. I feel sick just thinking about 'em.

From what I've heard, yeah. When I went out, we followed the edge of the forest for a little ways… I kinda wanna see if there's a path that leads in there. Who knows, there might be treasure! Or some hideous monster… But still, treasure! Alternatively, if you don't like the sound of that, there's a bunch of other places we could explore.
