To any that might have been at the Institute last night

It's obvious something has changed. Were there any differences at the Institute last night? And was there anything said over the intercom? A description or transcript would be very helpful.

Landel has consistently displayed nearly all of of the traits of a Mad Scientist, or at least a mastermind with an increasingly tenuous grip on his situation. He has been acting increasingly erratic over the past few nights, as various problems presented themselves (faulty wiring in the intercoms, apparently being overworked, et cetera). It's really only a matter of time before personalities of this kind self destruct.

Doyle would leave a few items hidden throughout the Institute, their locations usually given through needlessly cryptic hints. He appeared twice in person, once posing as one of the 'patients', once at night to directly take requests for items from individuals. Before any of the items could be given, he was killed. It seems he has come back.

Thank you. Was it clear if his behaviour was caused by his own delusions or by some sort of outside stressers?

How did Doyle contact patients if not in person? Via the radios in the patient's desks? Also, is it currently known who 'killed' Doyle and how?

Outside stresses combined with a tendency to get overly invested in every problem. Delusions do not seem to have entered into his thinking except in what he thought about the prisoners here, which were generally expressed in gloating. Personally, I do not think he has been very good at his job.

Through the radios, yes. And it was Landel. Method unknown, but his body was apparently found.
