There were three of them assigned to that team. Since Kudou's healing was taking longer than anticipated, he could have taken Kuroba and gone ahead with the task I gave them, and left a note for Kudou. That is what I'm suggesting--and only suggesting in difference to you, as I'm sure you guessed.
