[Luxord has left this (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/KittyNakoji/luxgamblerdoodle.jpg) to serve as an explanation.]
I fear I am not the best artist. They are lesser Nobodies, but Nobodies none the less. I suppose you could say I was their general, of sorts. I do wonder what they are doing now that I am no longer with them...
And that would not happen to be a friend of yours, would it?
I do not think of what the soldiers that were under my command are doing now. I know they're in capable hands. But, they do look rather... self-sufficient, do they not?
No. No, he is not, and should I ever see him again... never mind, dear Luxord. It's of little concern now.
I am unsure. While Nobodies can think and plan just fine, the weaker ones are a bit more susceptible to losing focus, Gamblers more so. We'd never really been ones to fight, so I was more lenient on them than I suspect the other members were with their groups. I hope they can take care of themselves.
Setzer Gabbiani is a pitiful man addicted to odd children games involving bludgeoning others with styrofoam, blue bats. He at least held the championship for it, so I suppose he must be proud of himself for that.
...While rather amusing, I assure you, he is not. We don't have... this 'styrofoam' in my world, Luxord. Though he is rather good at sweeping down out of the rafters and kidnapping fake opera singers.
Again, I apologize for my lack of artistic ability. Did he look something like this? (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v258/KittyNakoji/luxsetzerdoodle.jpg)
That sounds too interesting to be him. We may not be speaking of the same person, then.
Both. I was standing in for a woman that was my duplicate in every way, thus saving her and sending me to the torture of opera and corsetry like which you can not imagine.
At least I remembered my cues...
I regret to say that I cannot; either suddenly the universe is a more horrible place for giving us two Setzer Gabbianis or it is some kind of horrible misunderstanding.
I do not hate it, Luxord. I just have little desire to force myself out onto a stage. Unfortunately, I was in a company of men, and none of them looked enough like Maria.
That's a horrible thought, Luxord. Shall we both forget it and take a weight off our minds at such an atrocity?
Sometimes, I've run into different versions of people I met here. They didn't know me even though I recognized them. This might be the same kind of thing.
Yup! There's a lot of 'em back home. Me n' my friends used to breed them for travel and races, and stuff. We had a whole bunch - yellow ones, blues, greens, four blacks, and two golds.
Racing them was the sport of choice up until the war. It's popular in the Southern continent, but only because that's where the Empire originates from and thus, is the safest area to lead a normal life.
I do look forward to racing across the plains again myself, however.
The world was ending and people still found time to race chocobo. In hindsight that is both kind of hilarious and kind of lame. At least we got plenty of gil out of it.
Try racing through valleys and down mountain trails, too. Seriously. It's the best.

but they sound delicious. If this is another one of those games or, if it is any small comfort, I suppose I miss my Gamblers.

...I have heard stories about other countries eating their chocobo... but what a waste!I know not what those are, unless they are boorish, rich airship captains that steal women from opera houses.

What was his name?

Setzer Gabbiani, owner of the Blackjack and quite possibly the richest man in the world.

Setzer Gabbiani? Dear Ms. Chere, are you suggesting you've a sense of humor?

...Are you implying I've somehow made a joke?

There is no such thing as coincidence, Luxord. Or so I've been told.

I have always believed as such. However, if you feel the same would you care to share an explanation for this discrepancy?

I would think the former. The universe is a cruel place.

So, going back to the subject at hand: chocobo, you were familiar with them?

Yes, I regret to say my years as a squire saw me kicked many times. Breaking them in was exhilarating, though.

Oh, oh! And I nearly forgot about the white baby chocobo we saw in Mideel. That one really was cute.
You should try racin' em, if you haven't already!
