This is Starbase Commander Talana of the Syreen. If any of my allies are here -- or indeed, ANYONE who can tell me what's going on and WHAT'S BEEN DONE TO MY SKIN, please respond here.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with your company. Is it new?

I see. I have been told...a little about this place, but I'd hoped...Well, it hardly matters.
We're a race of what you humans would think of as aliens, though I can assure you it's entirely the other way around from our perspective. We originated in the Beta Copernicus system, but currently reside on Gaia, a planet orbiting the star Betelgeuse. In terms of appearance, we greatly resemble humans, for which I am growing steadily more thankful, the more information I gather about this place. Probably the most notable difference would be our blue skin, as I mentioned above, and a tendency for our eyes to reflect certain kinds of light. Our culture, on the other hand, is markedly different from what humans seem to consider the norm, but I won't go into details now. I'd hate to bore you!

And I'd love to hear about it some time. Human cultures vary so widely, but we've never found aliens. Just...ourselves.
