What does it taste like? I heard it was bad.

Like beer. It's traditionally made from barley and small amounts of other grains, plus hops -- which make it bitter. It's an acquired taste.

This stuff will be probably be sweeter -- the kitchen was all out of hops.

Will the sweeter things still be an acquired taste? I've never had beer before, although I've had sake. I don't like that much either.

I was just wondering what it tasted like. Beer was not available in my country, although I heard of it from stories.

Oh, but you can drink sake cold. My comrades certainly did.
