Well, other than the general knowledge that they are the seats of the two strongest ninja clans, I'm afraid I can't claim personal knowledge. The people of Iga protected Edo Castle until the last century, and the people of Koga have been well known for their skills since their inception.

A man of Iga? It's been awhile since I've run into one of you.

And I believe it was the first year of Kyoho when Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune took office. He replaced them with the men of his own Kii Province, but I believe the Iga people still held power in other ways.

If the 'different timelines'-story in this facility is indeed true, I assume the Kyoho era would be ahead of the Keichō era as I do not recall any of these described events. Thank you for your information.

Yes, I expect they wouldn't be. It wasn't until a few days after my arrival that I started asking about them. The future has many things that we've never seen in Japan - probably more for you than for me. If you ever do need anything, please feel free to contact me.
