Well, other than the general knowledge that they are the seats of the two strongest ninja clans, I'm afraid I can't claim personal knowledge. The people of Iga protected Edo Castle until the last century, and the people of Koga have been well known for their skills since their inception.
A man of Iga? It's been awhile since I've run into one of you.
And I believe it was the first year of Kyoho when Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimune took office. He replaced them with the men of his own Kii Province, but I believe the Iga people still held power in other ways.
If the 'different timelines'-story in this facility is indeed true, I assume the Kyoho era would be ahead of the KeichÅ era as I do not recall any of these described events. Thank you for your information.
Yes, I have arrived this morning.
[ooc note; I've been reading up on the Japanese eras, but since I'm still practically a n00b I hope this is correct ^^' Tenzen's from the year of 1614.]
Oh, it's quite true, I'm afraid. I'm from 200 years in your future, the first year of Genji.
I welcome you then. How are you adjusting? I know it was quite a shock to me when I first got here. Also I apologize for the name attached to this. My nurse is writing for me today as I'm incapable.

[ooc: You're doing fine! I research most of my Japanese eras, too. |D ]
If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them - things that aren't answered in the primer and whatnot. I know I had a lot. Like the candles in the ceiling and whatnot.
Yes, I expect they wouldn't be. It wasn't until a few days after my arrival that I started asking about them. The future has many things that we've never seen in Japan - probably more for you than for me. If you ever do need anything, please feel free to contact me.

I see. Finally, which century are you referring to by 'last century'?
Yes, I am of Iga.

Ending up here naturally hadn't been among the things I had been expecting.
[ooc; I'm glad it's correct. ^^; It'd be embarrasing if I messed something up XD; Japan does have a lot of eras :O]
