Considering how often people find excuses to hate individuals... I would think that you going beyond your previous relationship to Yohji would already be going beyond a normal person. People hold grudges. They distance themselves from 'ephemeral' pleasures simply because they do not hold monetary or practical value.

While I loved my mother very dearly, you know what I was like back then. I didn't see any practical value in friendship or love or physical displays of affection. And I truly believe I'm a better, more stable (humor me) man now. I don't think Crawford's even taken into account how it will affect you to suddenly cut off all physical contact with everyone.

I feel a little strongly on this, I suppose. Apologies for the long-winded dissertation.

...and that sounds like it would be unpleasant. Something would tear after three days at the very maximum...
