I have two serious questions for you all.

1. What the hell is a crumpet, really?

2. What do poor college kids eat since you are the Land of No Ramen?

We're hardly in the dark ages. Late nineteenth century actually, and I haven't seen a whole lot in the way of food like that. I travel quite a bit, but usually it's best to stop in and visit restaurants in town. The prices aren't that bad. And really I think you ought to try the food before you go comparing it to snot. Anything can taste good if it is cooked by someone who knows what they're doing.
