Eleven days ago and it was an unexpected encounter while at the nearby town. He was going by an assumed name. I knew he had setup the encounter though I doubt I was specifically his target. I confirmed him to be the Jack of the radio after the man's death.

He, one of my wards and I talked about the town, his books (as he was pretending to be a novelist) and I bummed some cigarettes ff him. The conversation was rather mundane given the front he was putting up.

I confirmed that later, right after his death. How is not something I will explain. There are others here that met him while he wasn't wearing a mask. I suggest waiting to see if one of them speaks up. They will have far more information than I.

He was a smug, arrogant man that played with his prey just as much as our gracious host. He simply had more class.
