Well, such language is hardly called for. And I don't understand why you're blaming the 'geniuses' of the Institute for failing at creating an explosive device, when all we have available are chemicals used in medical experiments.

Equally he could be using the quotes to signify that "geniuses" is intended as a general insult to all of the people who comment frequently on this board with new information about this facility; perhaps trying to indicate that if they are smart enough to do this, why have they not destroyed our captors?

After all, I doubt there are many who could be considered legitimately a genius, and as he doesn't appear to have known about you (assuming you are in fact intelligent enough to warrant such a term), I doubt he was trying to insult you in particular.
