Because it's simply wrong, for one. Purposely causing physical agony to another for the sake of your own personal sense of justice is no way to solve a problem. There are other means.

And there is nothing in this world a person could do that would "deserve" torture. No one "deserves" torment.

Ha ha. Pardon. I didn't mean any offense. It just sounds to me as if you're dedicating yourself to a "cause" that produces trouble for yourself and those around you. A code that promotes torturing people is no code follow.

Maybe I don't understand what you're talking about what laws you decide to live by, but the fact remains that you are here, and we are all trapped. We are all equal victims, correct?
