That's a marvelous idea, in theory. Unfortunately, reality doesn't work that way under the best of circumstances, which these most emphatically aren't. It doesn't do any good to try putting aside your differences while your opposite number is trying to put a large, sharp object through your chest.

No, it's not. I believe rocket science must be extremely simple in comparison to trying to get a large, diverse group of people to cooperate. Though the possibility for explosion is similar...
