Would it be possible to talk with one of the alchemists or whoever forges weapons? I know there's a list...

About these lists of requests: are all you need just names and specifications, or do you need other things to make a weapon? I don't know how you do it, but if people's abilities are diminished... And payment, of course! I'm sure you'd want to make a trade or something like that, right?

Name, specification, and an amount of raw materials as well. For example, if you were to request a sword, I would need enough iron to create the weapon as well. By contrast, a spear would need iron and wood, and so forth. Generally, the higher-quality the material, the better the item will be.

As for payment... let's just say that you'd owe me a favor, equal to a weapon that could easily be the difference between life and death. So far that's worked out well enough.

Like a kind of transmutation? I suppose you mean whatever can be found around here, too...

I understand, then. I'd be in your debt. Would you have an idea of how many days I would have until you were available?

That's the term for it, actually; alchemic transmutation, something that requires raw materials to be transformed into something else.

As for the time... I would guess about three days. Would that be all right?

Oh, yes, that's fine. I'd be grateful if you'd put me down. I'm sure I can make do without one, so if a more desperate case comes up, feel free to pass over me--that would be Nakatsukasa Tsubaki.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the size of the weapon make it harder to create?

Yes and no; a larger weapon is more difficult to make than a smaller one, but an additional factor is complexity. A weapon made of several different materials is more difficult than one made of a single material.

Regardless, what sort of weapon did you have in mind?

I see. That makes sense. What about several smaller weapons, like a set of shuriken? I have some background in various weapons, but I'd rather ask for something smaller in scaler if it'd require less from you.

Hm... I've never made one before, but I know what you're speaking of. I'd probably be able to make three to five in one sitting, perhaps more. Of course, that depends on the design; straight blades would be less effort than the 'star' pattern.

Then, I'd like to request a ninjatou blade. If you're at all familiar with Japanese weaponry, it'd be similar in style to a short sword, and would need less metal overall than a series of shuriken.

I can make up a sketch and have it ready whenever you need it.

I believe I know what you're referring to. Very well; if you wouldn't mind posting the design at some point tomorrow, I'll try to arrange something on my end. Just remember, you'll have to provide the materials for the transmutation.
