[usual anon, still a little uneven]
Thanks, everyone who showed up at my room last night. If you didn't get a chance to make it and you're still interested in helping, that's fine. Just let me know by leaving a note here or stopping me at some point today.
Those of you who are interested in learning about our false lives: the best way to do so quickly is to find your files in the first floor file room or head up to patient possession storage. Quite a few of you expressed interest in that, so if you'd like to do so and don't have obligations to a club, post here and we can assemble a group.
Those of you who are interested in how patients are chosen: The best way to find these answers is to get our hands on the discharged patients files from the room on the second floor. Presumably, Landel discharges us when we're no longer of use to him. Answers to the questions below may also prove of use. I fall into this group, so if anyone would like to try to make it to the second floor file area with me tonight, leave a note. [added] I may not be able to do so this evening. I'll post later with a definite answer. If not, we can try the following night.
Those of you who are interested in the science of how the institute works: Aside from collecting data from other patients, I can't think of any way to further investigation. If you have one, I'd be interested to hear it.
Questions:
1. If you know someone who disappeared and you don't mind answering questions, let me know.
2. I've been told that this is the second incarnation of Landel's Institute. If you have any information about the first one, I'd like to talk to you in person or on this bulletin.
3. If you remember the answers to any of these questions, please post with the information.
An estimate of how much time passed between nightfall and when you lost consciousness
How many people you traveled with, if you left your room
Where you traveled
Any monsters you encountered
4. If you are a new patient, a detailed explanation of the institute should be posted shortly if past experience holds true.
5. If anyone has any other questions or concerns, leave a comment and I'll try to help.

I believe the blunt way to say that is 'when his mental conditioning has taken hold'.
I encountered no monsters last night, and traveled with first one companion and then three.

Also, I'd like to continue our discussion from last night at some point. I feel it's best to discuss it privately, however.
Also, as to last night:
- I'd say about 3-4 hours.
- Two different people at different times.
- To room M3, and we were on our way to patient possessions when night ended.
- No monsters.

We tried to get my things back, but I don't think we made it very far. There were no monsters, just some injured people and a fight on the floor above.
What is this place? And is there any way I can find my friend?
[same anon]
This post should explain the basics of how this place works. What's your friend's name? I may be able to help.

1. I have had four roommates so far, all of whom have vanished. However, I'm not sure how or when, precisely, they left the Institute.
3. About three hours.
I traveled alone.
I went to the men's bathroom nearest my room, moved into the female block to drop off some items, and was on my way to the meeting when Nightshift ended.
I encountered one monster: a scorpion the size of a large dog.

Did you notice any change in your roommates' mood or behavior before they disappeared?

From what I've seen, the animal ones have the same nervous systems as their non-zombified counterparts, so you know where to aim.

I traveled alone.
I left the female wings to head to your room, then upstairs to the labratory there, then across the hall to the janitor's closet. I then headed back downstairs to my room in the female wing. I stayed there for awhile, then left to go to the Arts & Crafts room.
Nothing was encountered until the Arts & Crafts room. There were two glowing monsters with seemingly impenetrable skin except in a certain place on their back.
I'll most likely be asking about numbers one and two as well. I'll tell you any information I find.

My brother was here. He was discharged a few days ago and came to see me as a visitor yesterday. If you need to know anything else about the disappearance, I guess let me know.

I don't know if I'll be able to talk to you today, but could you pass along any important information? I'm probably not the only one interested in hearing what was discussed.
[same anon]
We discussed various theories about what's happening. Most people were understandably interested or concerned about visitors. Others were interested in how patients are chosen, and what exactly Landel wants from us. The most interesting thing I learned is listed as #2 above, but now that we all understand each other's goals, it will be easier to help each other by focusing on concrete objectives.

I was awake for how ever long we were talking, and maybe an hour besides. After the meeting, I met up with someone else and got tackled by some kid in the main hallway. Wow, his head was big. I don't think he was a monster though.

As for the other questions... about one and a half hours, I was traveling with one other individual, and we went up to the second-floor kitchen. No monsters that I saw.
