They've taken gods and beings of immense power and trapped us here as well. I have no idea what this 'chassis' of yours is, but you won't find it easily. We've been looking for that which has been taken from us for weeks now with still no sign of what they've done with it.

What exactly is a "robotics lab"?

A chassis is the interior framework and/or moving parts of a machine, though what exactly that entails depends on the machine you're talking about.

A robotics lab would be a laboratory for developing/building robots.

It's unlikely that your real body is being stored somewhere in the institute. Most likely, whatever discovery leads to our escape will also return you to your body, but scouring the institute for a robotics lab will likely be in vain.

The flesh-creatures that have here provided useful information are correct; it's very doubtful that our chassis are anywhere on-site. Even if they were, having our sparks removed from these synthoid bodies and returned to our true bodies would be difficult, as the equipment for doing so is not located here.

I would be quite interested in meeting you, as you are the second (third if you include the disturbing entity that has replied to your query) robotic lifeform I have encountered. I'll grant that I've only been using this synthoid clone for two solar cycles, but I would be more than willing to help you with your unfortunate - and hopefully temporary - adjustments to its inferior workings.
