I would like to conduct interviews of anyone interested. I used to be a reporter before I ended up here; I think it would be helpful to compile people's life stories if they're interested in sharing them.

Also, I would be particularly interested in talking with anyone from the U.S, in particular the New York area.

No, my master named me. My name suits my form and my purpose.

I'm afraid I don't follow. You have a master? And what would you say your purpose is, Lust?

I had a master. The woman who raised me and taught me and used me as her pawn. And my purpose was to seduce men.

What'd you feel about that? What did she aim to accomplish by using you in that kind of fashion? I can't imagine you would appreciate it.

I felt nothing; it was the purpose I was created for. Does a teacup complain about hot tea or chapped lips? No, it serves its purpose. I suppose I felt some pride when the job was done for a time. And she wished to manipulate scientists, alchemists, to do what she couldn't do herself.

Never thought of it that way, but I can see what you mean. So what was the purpose of her manipulations? Seems like a lot of trouble to rear someone and...well, I guess train them like you described.

She had been raising and training my kind for centuries. It isn't difficult for an alchemist. And she was seeking to keep hold of her immortality.

"For centuries"? I'm assuming she's a normal human, but I guess I assumed wrong if you said she's immortal. And what is "your kind", if it's not too straightforward of me to ask?

She was an alchemist who discoered a clever trick. And I am - or was - a homunculus. A created human, made with alchemy.
