Has anyone ever heard of the Pride Lands?

oh hell

A movie is a form of entertainment. A story told with moving pictures. There was one made... over a hundred and fifty years ago?... where I'm from, that was about a pride of lions whose leader was killed by his brother. The Lion King, I think it was called. I haven't seen it since I was very young, so I don't remember all that much beyond that.

[Arrow to Shiki's post] Those sound right. And one of the three hyenas with actual characterization was named Ed, I think, and there was a bird, whose name I can't recall but at one point said something about "that's MISTER banana beak to you!"

Are you someone who lived it? Because I've spoken to other people whose lives were also someone else's story or legend.

Not common, I would say-- but there's a few that I know of. You could ask around.

Actually, I wonder how many people know the same stories, regardless of where they're from...

If it's any comfort, only Simba's life was followed in any detail? And even then, not much of it? Movies generally last about two hours-- nowhere near enough to detail every breathing moment of every single character from birth to death.
