I have seen people about with actual weapons during the night. I would like to know more about acquiring one.

Sadly, I am better a swordsman than a swordsmith, and would rather not have to deal with an unwieldy bat if at all possible. Further, a proper sword would be far more ideal than an ill-shaped piece of metal attached to a shoddy hilt.

As long as you've got the metal to make a proper sword from, the alchemists here would probably be willing to help you. I'm pretty sure you've got sign up for some kind of list, though.
