Let's talk about the surgery "sleep study" that happens .. occasionally. At night, I mean.
Who here has had it? What did they do to you? If you don't feel safe saying so in public, if you could just give me a 'yes' or something to let me know I'm not alone, it wouldn't make me feel any better, but.. um.. just, please answer, okay?

roommategood friend a few nights before they took me, which was also a few nights ago... What did they do to you, if you don't mind me asking?no subject
yet. They did something to one of my eyes, changed its colour and got some half mad woman to cut my face open. There's other effects but not something I'm gonna' say on here I'm afraid. But if you ever want to talk, I'm easy to find.

One last question. Did they use
anastanesthesia? It's okay if you don't want to answer. I'm sorry to be so nosy. I might come find you sometime. There can't be too many people with face scars and two different eye colors.

I'm fine answering, just not so fond of doing it where anyone at all can see.

I confess I am somewhat curious if there is any pattern to the people who have been selected, as well as the...procedures involved in the sleep studies.

Did they say anything at all to you about what you did? To me they said that I'd figure it out eventually, or something, and.. um.. well, I've had headaches ever since, but there were other things too...
I don't know if there's a pattern. I always did what the nurses and doctors told me to do, so I don't know if it's punishment..
no subject
As did I. I'm not saying it's punishment; I simply don't believe that their choice of...subjects is random.

Yeah. I don't think so either. I think I'm going to ask my doctor about it the next time I have a visit with her. She's gotta know
even if she is kind of terrifying and she'll probably kill meno subject
I'm certain my doctor thinks I'm absolutely mad already; that's unlikely to change if I attempt to discuss this issue with him.
no subject
Well, I mean, we're all supposed to be crazies, aren't we? It's not surprising, I mean, that the doctors think that. Of course, if I actually did what my doctor told me I was supposed to have done, I think I'd call myself crazy, too..

...I have a scar too. Where's yours?
[strikeouts shakier than usual, but still legible]
Mine is at the back of my neck, right at the hairline, from a very large needle.
I...I wonder. Has anyone else had aftereffects? Voices, visions?no subject

The name's Javert. Greying hair, tied back; brown eyes; sideburns. I look rather older than most of the patients here.
