Those who were attacked near the Chapel:

I apologize for my actions last night (results of some sort of experiment, I believe? My memory is foggy at best), though the words fall flat. If there is a way I can assist you in healing any injuries you might have sustained, leave a word. I'll find you. Perhaps what I was meant to guard will help.

If there is anyone present who would be willing to instruct a fellow inmate on how to better shield herself against the night's terrors, I'd very much like to speak to you. I'm not entirely unschooled, but find my usual means ill-suited for use in this place. I don't wish to be a liability, and would greatly appreciate any aid that might be offered toward that end.

Kuchiki Rukia-san,

We need to speak. It looks that we will be separated for both shifts, and I am busy at lunch.

Before your assignment for the night, find me first.

If you remember any of these details, please reply with the following information:

An estimate of how much time passed between nightfall and when you lost consciousness
How many people you traveled with, if you left your room
Where you traveled
Any monsters you encountered

I'll be using the info to figure out what variables affect the institute's time dilation.  If I'm right, we'll be able to maximize the time we're conscious and plan around predictable pitfalls.

If you couldn't keep track of time last night, please do so tonight.  I'll be collecting data for three days before posting the results.

[added slightly later]

If you're unable to answer the first question because you found it unusually difficult to keep track of time, please note that as well.

Rukia,

After going through my first nightshift on my own, I was hoping I could talk to you again. Although I've found a wealth of information on this bulletin, the company of someone trustworthy can never be beaten. I also hope to return the favor by helping your effort in some way.

I understand you're a busy woman, so I appreciate your time.

Thank you again,
Zachary
