[Writing somewhat disguised, possibly identifiable by some]

As I was one of the patients who fought this morning, and was sedated, I did not witness the conclusion of the shift. If anyone would care to enlighten me on what happened, I would be grateful.

Thank you.

Everyone was sent back to their rooms and the Institute was put on lockdown.

Thank you for fighting.

What anyone would expect. They drugged all of the patients who rebelled, and took the rest who were smart and stayed out of the fight back to their rooms.

((Writing's a bit shaky, though legible; Adelheid took a lot of effort to make sure he was understandable.))

I wasn't sedated. Something happened after 'lock-down.' Can tell you more later?

No, it... in the riot. I wasn't sedated, but something still knocked me out. Wasn't a hit. Can't describe it well in writing.

No. Only drained. I'm not the only one.

((Beneath his statement, he's drawn arrows- albeit a bit meanderingly- to Kurikara's and Okita's posts))

Felt it too. I think. Like a sudden weakness before the needle..?

Yes. Sapped my strength. Felt it before, never on that scale. Glad I didn't imagine it.

Thought it was the drugs.

[[added a few seconds later]]...Still wishing it was the drugs. Not good.

Eyes open. Better to know.

Suspected. Knew. Pride makes it hard.

Better now than later.

All the king's horses and all the king's men stormed the cafeteria and the humpty-dumpties fell like leaves in autumn. Nothing touched them, but everyone went down. The King called it a failsafe - much more power than you would imagine for a man to have, hm?

Implanted? Hm, perhaps although I don't understand how, but then I understand so little here. It's maddening, really.

Interesting information. So the king has a better hold on us than we all thought, hm?

Unlucky for us.

That's my theory. Or a telepathic field, but the selective nature of it argues more for implanted control. The tech's not that hard to come by.

It'd be easier in person, since it's a lot of ground to cover and I don't know how up you are on technology.

Sure thing. I always make time for the curious. :)
