(no subject)

I haven't seen them around the institute, but I was wondering, has anyone seen some friends of mine? They might have beat me here and I just haven't found them yet. If anyone's seen them, I'd really appreciate it if you let me know!

There's Kuro-nyan first, he's really tall with spiky black hair.
Syaoran is about fifteen with dark brown hair and eyes. He likes to wear goggles.
Sakura is about the same age and very pretty! She's sweet and nice too.
I lost my stuffed animal Mokona too. It was really important to me, so if you find it, I really miss it, yeah? It's round and white with a red jewel on it's head and a face like this: ^_^

Also... if someone could explain this "under-age" business... it seems a little silly to me.  I could understand it for some things, but even what you drink?  Where's the fun in that?

Oh! And the nice person I met on the bus, I'd really like to talk to you a little more about what we had been discussing. If you have any more information on that subject, I'd be interested to hear it!

Fai ♥

ps - Did everyone I had club with have ok dreams?  I hope none of them were too scary.  It's enough to make you afraid of the dark!

Anyone under 21 isn't allowed alcohol. It's the law.

[identity profile] fyeonly.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 02:57 am (UTC)(link)
Because a lot of teenagers were getting into a lot of trouble while drunk.

Unless you have an ID to prove it, I don't think anyone can serve you alcohol.

Laws don't always seem fair, but they're in place for a reason.

If this is a normal town, with normal zoning laws, no you can't. That's not allowed, either. And you get an ID by registering with the DMV with your birth certificate and social security card.

Yeah, well, that's life. It sucks sometmes.

This is... here. And 'here' for all intents and purposes looks like Mid-Western America. so that's how things go.

An ID is an identification card, it has your picture and name and date of birth on it. To prove you're who you say you are, and how old you are. The government gives them out, and you need a birth certificate and social security card to prove you're who you say you are, and to prove the information you're giving is correct. A social security card is something you get when you're born, with your social security number on it.

It's just how things work here, okay?

It's really only for official reasons. Getting a job, buying certain controlled substances, opening a bank account....

Of course there's more than just papers to say we exist. Everything we've done and everyone we've met is proof that we exist.

[identity profile] fyeonly.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that's... that's a completely different situation....

You don't need papers to know who you are. You just are.

I'd rather be me than be someone else.

[identity profile] fyeonly.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't seen any papers that say anything. But I know who I am.

[identity profile] fyeonly.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry. I'm not upset at you. Just at my current situation.

[identity profile] fyeonly.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
No, I haven't been here for long, either. It seems like not many people have been here for very long at all, actually.

I wonder....

[identity profile] fyeonly.livejournal.com 2007-11-14 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
And how long that's been.

Nothing important, really. Just thinking. Or trying to think, at least.

Someone has to.

I don't think I'll get very far, but thanks. I guess we can only hope.
