From the sound of things, everyone here is from really different places!  That or there really are a lot of crazies here, haha~

In any case, I thought it would be fun, if anyone is willing to supply the information, to just see where everyone is from?  Where did you live before you came here?  What was it like?  I've a friend who's very interested in world culture you see.  Well, that and it's a fun way to pass the time, right?

My world doesn't have a name (that I know of). Not an official one, anyway.

It's a horrible place. Humans are slaves, and the elves rule over them and treat them like livestock. But...it's home, and my friends and I are trying very hard to make it a better place.

...Or we were, before we were snatched up and taken here. My foster younger sister is here, as is one of my closest friends.

I'm also curious about the worlds people come from, and the technology that these worlds have. If anyone would be willing to talk to me about that sort of thing, let me know.

As for the world I'm from, it's called Auldrant. It has two nations, Malkuth and Kimlasca. Its denizens can utilize something called fonons to cast spells and use different abilities. We've just started developing airships and have been slowly trying to recover old technology that was lost many years ago.

There's a lot more to it, of course, but that's a basic overview.

I This is all very awkward. Someone told me that we all come from different 'worlds' but he didn't have a chance go into a lot of detail about that. I'd be happy to talk to you about my culture, but I'd like to know what you already know. It's a big question otherwise.

There are countless worlds and versions of worlds represented in the population, along with numerous times. I am from Heaven myself, though the later part of my life was mostly spent in the Lower World.

I'm from Earth, but the year SD 366. I guess using the old calendar, that'd be about 2446 AD? Anyway, Earthlings have pretty advanced technology to where they've been traveling space for quite some time, and we've made contact with enough planets to form a Pangalactic Federation. A method called Symbology (or Heraldry in other places) allows people to use certain types of "magic." Heraldry has existed on other planets for eons, but Earth discovered it maybe 20 years ago.

There's a lot more I could say, but I think that pretty much sums everything up in nutshell.

Like what Larsa was talking about... This old man's from Hinamizawa, aka the best village you could hope to find in Japan, without a doubt! It was... ordinary, I guess. Not very big, but it's really beautiful if you go to the right places, and all the people are friendly!

I was really looking forward to this year's Watanagashi Festival too...
