Although I have never received one of your gifts, I also wish to extend my regards. Some here believe that you are not trustworthy and therefore, not worth listening to, but I feel otherwise. As I told the original poster at breakfast this morning, you are a player in this game and deserve to be treated as such.

I'm certain that most patients here cannot see what you are risking while we risk our lives. However, this is war, more or less. Injury and death are givens, but what we fight for is a higher cause. I'm not sure what that is in your case, but I sincerely hope that one of these nights, patients will come to understand that.

Also, a Beethoven sonata would be lovely.
