After careful consideration (and as much as it pains me to fall back on such brutish methods) in the stead of the Jarls I declare that Prussia is now an acceptable target for raids.

I seek those of an adventurous spirit to fill out a crew to go a-viking! Experience not necessary, merely a desire to see the world and set things that you do not like on fire.

Helmets and axes will be provided.

Oh, I know how viking works. But even if I'm the target, the very people you're trying to recruit are all my (honorary) citizens.

I must point out that if we conduct a viking raid upon you, all the raiders are vikings who haven't a care for your notions of citizenship or borders. It's quite freeing, really.

There's not a person who's lived that hasn't been one of ours, no matter what care he may or may not have about 'notions of citizenship or borders'. I've merely laid out a claim to those who are here. I'm not going to take it back just because someone decides to join your viking crew.

However, we choose not to acknowledge your claims so your words are basically meaningless. And it seems that your fellow countries are disinclined to even acknowledge your existence.

Really, that we are at all willing to acknowledge that you exist at all so that we might raid you is something you might want to take as a compliment.

It's only England who's disinclined, and he was one of the ones who's worked to abolish me. But once I regain enough land and people, he'll have to acknowledge me as a full-fledged nation again, not one consigned to disappear.

That's why snatching up this territory is so important, you see.

For the particular matter with the tiresome Prussian, raids.

For more meaningful and serious pursuits, I have had the Arts and Crafts Club recommended to me.

Really, fire is optional. Pillaging is not.

Maybe it would be better to avoid pillaging those areas where the existing residents are not precisely accepting of Prussian rule. Where there isn't anyone to object, though....
