Boss, are you okay? Sorry I haven't been around lately--a younger friend of mine needed some help. Human stuff, you know how it is. How's your How's your eye...? I think you told me about it once, but I think we both had a few cracked refractors that day.

I'm relieved to hear you're alright and are back to your old self. I'm not sure what came over me that day... although I suppose it says something that we both still got along even when behaving so strangely, doesn't it?

Unfortunately, I suspect that what I thought was a dream may have actually occurred and... some of the effects may be permanent. I'm pretty sure I don't have an eye anymore I don't think I'll be seeing from that eye any time soon. I suspect there may be other... side-effects, although I'm still working them out.

I have... been having more trouble at night than before.

Hee! I'm sure you would have... you two were very different after all! Then again, I'm not sure I would have looked on my own counterpart much more kindly... he was just embarrassing.

If nothing else, at least it's taken care of the double vision. Although I'm never at a loss for problems here...
