The following is a timeline of known events in the institute's history. The base point of this timeline is the day on which the Head Doctor first appeared in front of the patient population. That day is now three weeks ago, making today day 21. The institute was in operation before then, but due to the high patient turnover, information about that time period is difficult to come by.
This is still a work in progress, so if any of you see inaccurate or incomplete information, please feel free to speak up so that I can correct it. If you can think of any additional dates that are worthy of note, please mention those as well.
Day 4 BC (before chapel) - The institute's layout changed into its current configuration. A large number of patients were also replaced.
Day 0 - The Head Doctor made an appearance in the chapel.
Night 4 AC (after chapel. All days are AC unless stated otherwise) - Patients discovered the basement.
Night 5 - The moon turned red and the water in the pipes was replaced by (or possibly changed into?) blood.
Day 6 - The first trip to Doyleton. Jack made an appearance in town.
Night 6 - The buses broke down before the patients could safely disembark.
Night 7 - Jack made an appearance in the library.
Day 8 - A mass riot took place, leading to heavy sedations for patients that were involved.
Night 8 - The Head Doctor reported the death of Jack. Jill's first radio message was also broadcasted on this night.
Night 10 - Jack's file recovered from the morgue. The file was concerned primarily with the details of his death. On this same night, the statue in the chapel appeared.
Night 11 - The barrier around the institute dropped, leaving the patients free to explore the institute grounds for the first itme. The SC schedules were also changed.
Night 19 - Fog rolled into the institute and blood seeped down the building's inner walls at the end of nightshift.
Night 20 - The patients were left stranded in Doyleton overnight. The townspeople turned into zombies. At the institute and at the end of night, the Head Doctor is attacked and possibly killed while the intercom is (conveniently) on.
Day 21 - The Head Doctor is seemingly replaced by "I.R.I.S.," an automated guide to the institute.
I've received conflicting information about when Jill delivered her first radio message, so if you happen to know the exact date, please reply to this post.
