As far as I know, no one's sure what happens. I wouldn't be surprised if they go to wherever they put the visitors when they're done with them. [Last few words are pressed into the paper particularly hard.]

People can come back after being released, but they don't remember being in the institute before. I should know. I've apparently been here before, but I don't remember a thing between going to sleep back home and waking up here almost a week ago. I don't want to think about it, but I might have been one of those visitors before and then had a bunch of my memories wiped. According to [pen hesitated here] a friend, I lost more memories than just ones from the institute.

I'm sorry again. If it helps any, I'm going to make sure that bastard pays for everything. I swear to that.
