To those who distracted the clockwork being in the cafeteria last night - your assistance was appreciated.

He was in the cafeteria last night?

What was your encounter like?

The being's a little over six feet fall, and he uses two long blades that run parallel to his forearm but are only held by conventional hilts. He wears plated armor on his chest and most likely his back, which is held in place by what seemed to be one strap on each side. These straps can be severed. The bulletin said that he can only be incapacitated by attacks to the chest, but piercing damage doesn't seem to work. I could hear his ticking from several feet away, and right before night ended he slowed and stopped, like a clock winding down.

He's unnaturally fast, a good swordsman, and intelligent enough to block the exit. He attacked and held off two skilled fighters at the same time, and could probably handle more.

Our fight with him lasted less than two minutes before night ended. I don't know how long he attacked the group that made it through the door.

Do you know any details about him or the other creatures, besides what's on the list?

Thank you. That helps me tremendously.

And I only know that when we stabbed him, he bled sand and he can be vocal, but often does not speak. It's possible to reason with him, but only if you have a high enough bargaining chip, I think.

Any idea what kind of bargaining chip might work?

He didn't seem eager to make a deal when we ran into him, but then, we entered the room mid-fight.

My commander was able to wrestle one of his weapons away, at the cost of his own. In order to retrieve his weapon, the creature was willing to do an exchange.
