[in a familiar hand]
You two -
I've found a healer who's willing to treat your wounds tonight before we try for the basement again. Where do you want to meet?

[Unsigned, but handwriting is recognizable]
Anyway, I guess we should meet wherever is most convenient for the healer.

In any case, I don't know if she can heal all of us, though she'll do her best. I've asked her to heal the two of you first.
...you won't have any problems with her, will you?
no subject
Yeah, we shouldn't overwork her or she might not be able to do much for the rest of the night.
It depends on how she does her healing. It should be okay, though.

Right. Although she seems determined to try for all of us...
All right.

I guess we'll see how to goes.

Anyway - I can take responsibility for my own wound, and how well I can, or can't, manage with it. I can't assume anything about your or Guy's wounds, though, so it's better to get them dealt with as soon as possible.

And what's that supposed to mean? You got as hurt as the rest of us, didn't you? I can take responsibility for my own wounds, too, so don't feel like you have to put yourself on the bottom of the list just because you don't know if I can keep up.

I didn't mean it...quite like that. I meant that while I can opt to tough it out on my own behalf, I don't have the authority to be so cavalier about other people's injuries.

Well, yes, that's true, but that seems more like getting him to pay her back on our behalf. We could get her name on the list before he puts up his advertisement on the board, but I think we might have to do a little more. Do you know if she has metal or not?
You do have a point, and I appreciate the consideration. Still, we should talk about things like that in the future before you just decide on them, okay?

We could always collect the materials for her ourselves, as our part of the contribution. But we can't make the sword ourselves - only take it to someone who can. And the established alchemists here have long waiting lists.
Hn. I was the one who found her, so I'm the one who got to make the call. That's just how it works.
