Telepaths make a lot of enemies. That, and there are monsters in the halls at night. And my forte is more the mental than the physical...at least when it comes to combat.

Why not? I make lots of enemies, which means lots of fighting for you. Maybe not all of them would necessarily be as strong as you like, but you'd never be bored. And without me, you'd have to wade through the chaff to find the strong ones anyway.

Well, for one, I don't take orders well. Sure, I like the idea of getting to fight, but I didn't crawl outta the slums of rukongai to be someone's bitch.

A partner. You handle the fights, I handle the reconnaissance, and god help anyone who gets in our way. I'd even offer to arm you, but I don't have any weapons at the moment that you'd consider anything but toys.

It wouldn't have to be every night, either - just those nights I'd expect to run into trouble. And if you have your own things to do on occasion, then I'll find something relatively safe to do for the evening.
