The instant stuff is what I was referring to. It's a bag of dehydrated thin curly noodles with a packet of seasoning that could be anything from shrimp to chicken to beef and others. Basically, you combine the noodles with boiling water, add the seasoning, and then you let it sit for a few minutes. Then, before you know it, you have a giant bowl of noodles that only cost you a few yen to buy. Cheap, easy and filling.
