Well, I might suggest then that you join one of the pre-established clubs if you require help. Seeing as I've never heard of you before or seen your handwriting, no doubt you are one of the new patients, correct?
Simply calling for support without knowing what exactly you are up against is, in my opinion, a very, very poor idea. Second only to calling for alchemists or other people with special skills to possibly leave their pre-established groups for yours. I haven't heard of any free-lance alchemists in the area--most belong to the Cooking division, but I believe the History division has contracted one as well.
Next, uniting people under the pretense of their feeling 'no purpose in life' seems to be a rather lackluster call to arms under a leader with little experience of the situation. I think perhaps it would be best if you fell in under one of the other, more experienced leaders and then perhaps stuck out on your own once you have an adequate support base. Others have done so.
One thing I can agree with you on, though, is that you are as good as dead without help.
