I get why it means so much to escape, and I get why it means so much to be able to fight. I got left behind once because the guy thought I was a burden, and I've lost a lot of times before. What I don't understand is why you're letting it beat you, because you can hold your own.

And maybe the other thing you don't get, is that Kenshin can't have that kind of weakness going into his sword. Fuck your fancy lights. If you can't be confident, then Kenshin can't get his sakabato from you. End of story.

Like hell I can't. It's like every damn bit of stress I had before I went to Shinsuu's come back, and I can't even get rid of it properly this time.

I was rather unable to do much of anything, actually. And at last you finally admit that you don't understand.

As for the sakabato... he will be getting one, as I promised him. And as it is Kenshin who I am making the blade for, weakness is not what I'll be putting into the weapon. This, at least, I can do properly.

Not a single flaw. I have an idea of how important this weapon is, as Kenshin has informed me of some of the particulars; that is the reason I can be confident this weapon will be perfect.
