To the three last night,
I'm sorry I couldn't contact you sooner, but I never got to know your names. I only saw you upstairs last night, being attacked by that awful thing. It didn't hurt any of you, did it? I saw one of you stay to fight it, but… I was too frightened to help. I'm so sorry.
