ATTENTION LANDEL'S PATIENTS

Announcing the intention to form a Landel's Institute Baseball League! It has come to my attention that we do not, as a whole, receive enough exercise. Experts agree that with physical health comes mental health, thus I believe we should seek to remedy this. Doubtless, forming bonds and engaging in light competition can only help our emotional well-being.

I am attaching forms with the hopes of acquiring a list of those interested. Even if you do not wish to play, there might be other things you could contribute. I think it would be good if everyone got involved. A real group effort.

In order to both encourage recovery and respect those who are not yet comfortable with their names, I ask that in signing up, you list both of your names. Please follow my example.

Which he's tempted to outright write, given how blatantly others talk about things like the basement, but he's played it this far. ]


A sport. I should thank you for evincing another reason why this should be encouraged; clearly some of the patients are so far gone, they need to familiarize themselves with common knowledge.

As I do not think you are the only one in such a position, I will postpone the explanation, or post it separately. At the moment, I am primarily concerned with compiling a list of interested patients.

Apart from that, our names are on enough lists already.

How many of those lists are in our hands? People come and go here fairly quickly, it seems, and it can be difficult to obtain reliable information from our caregivers. Of course, to keep us from worrying about that which is not essential to our recovery.

Is it common for patients to have more than one name? What is the significance?

Most of the patients in this institute seem to be struck with a very particular and peculiar psychosis. Many of us are convinced that we lived different lives, very often complete with different worlds as well as names.

I do not wish to encourage our illnesses by using the names rooted in delusion, but I also wish to be understanding of those who are not yet ready to fully embrace reality. It is important, I think, for the sake of record keeping, to respect both the actual name (whichever you perceive that to be) and the one on file.

Thank you for your prompt and informative reply. It sounds quite serious. I would be interested in hearing accounts from other patients, in order to better myself and understand this illness.

Is this the first time a roster has been made? Some acquaintances of mine were avid fans of the game and I was curious if any of them might have been involved. Would there be a way to find out? There seem to be a lot of clubs here and I'm not entirely certain which one they might have joined.
