I was told something important was down there, but little else... Even if it's dangerous, those able enough to do so have more than good reason to look into the matter if you ask me.

A lot of signs seem to point to the basement. I wouldn't go down there alone, but I haven't yet heard a good reason why we shouldn't try in a group.

I agree. It would certainly be wise. I am more used to traveling in a small group, and would certainly be willing to form one once we can be certain that the effects of this sickness are more under control.

To answer your question, the price to satisfy your curiosity is a steep one. The cost is higher for a group, I must say.

Although I would like to give a candid opinion, all I can really say is that it depends on how much you're willing to stomach. In the physical sense, and also in regard to moral attitudes.

From where I stand, the cost is only worth it if investigating that place is the only way to get answers, which I'm not sure about. I'd treat it as a last resort. Another route would be vastly superior.

I've heard the answer to getting out of here lies in the basement. It's what some of the people on the radio have said. But there are also patients who tell us not to go down there and are vague on the details.

Have the people on the radio said specifically that? I've also heard that not everyone on the radio has been completely trustworthy. The fact that it is hidden suggests something of import, but that could be a trick, encouraging just that sort of thinking and resulting in whatever catastrophe to which the others allude.

Some of the people on the radio are trustworthy, I think. Or they weren't lying when I spoke to them.

I'm aware of that, and of all the possibilities. But everyone who goes down there is so closed-mouthed on the details.
