Not to rain on the parade, but I'm required to ask: by 'cured', do you mean each of the symptoms have since disappeared?

Yep! Well, aside from the effects of the surgery itself. But the illness is gone.

How can you tell, exactly?

The rash is subsiding and as far as I'm aware the stomach pains, as related to the illness itself, have stopped.

I suppose we will all find out one way or another over the coming nights.
