[anon, handwriting a little wobbly]
Last night I dreamed I saw a painting of a girl holding a man's severed head on a plate. It was hanging from the ceiling of the x-ray room, and there was a little pile of leaves on the floor beneath it.
I haven't seen the painting before, but I know it's from an old story about a girl who danced for a king and asked for the head of a prophet in return. I don't know what kind of tree the leaves came from, though. There wasn't anything in the pile.
Pretty strange, right? I know it's just a dream, but I can't help but wonder if it means something.

No man should be suffered to raise the dead, but Salome is a whore thrice-damned.
They say that love has a bitter taste, but no matter.

At any rate. That picture might less be another clue of the same thing, but yet another option that lead to the same end effect. If you remember the tale, she was given the head as a boon.

Maybe the leaves point to the location, and the painting tells us what we're supposed to do?

There's a shift involved, an evolutionary process. A change. So what's given, in both pictures found in that area of your dream, is a choice.
A removal of the catalyst that changes another, or when the body shifts with the seasons, there's only the answer to stop a man-made-monster. Painting the roses red would mix genres, but it's an appropriate choice.

Which means there may be a time limit involved.

You help who you can. And when you run out of time, you defend the rest if you're able.
