Once again, the winner of this game gets a real prize, accommodated by yours truly. This can be in the form of a detailed story on common trivia, a shiny toy procured, or something else altogether. The prize is a secret--winning depends on your luck and intelligence. And to up the stakes, you get no passes to assist in your survival--so do try hard, now.
If you can translate, you'll get an even better surprise.

[Classmates said he was a genius. It was really less genius and more the employment of shortcuts. Why would you memorize each spelling of a word in English class when you could memorize common letter patterns instead? It made a lot more sense.]
Well, looks like someone else got to it before I could. Do you do this often?
no subject
I used to do it every day. Now that there's things to win, it's every other day or so.

[ Despite him doing this from when he first came here... ]

Are you always the one who decides the prizes?
no subject
Of course. It's my game.
no subject
[Ah, well. It was worth a shot.]
May I ask what sorts of prizes you've given out before? To up the motivation factor?
no subject
You can ask but I won't say. It's a surprise for a reason. Though there are examples in the main post. Information, toy weapons, or other hard to find items. That sort of thing.

Hey. Yeah, sorry. Just woke up awhile ago and my head's not on straight yet. How've you been?

touchspend time with his friend.... ]...Uh. Weird. A lot of stuff has happened lately. I don't think it's bad though.
no subject
You okay though? I mean, weird stuff is kind of par for here, so if it's weirder than that weird stuff, it's a bit worrisome.

I think I am, honestly. I don't feel as alone anymore.

Good. I'm glad. Things are better then?

...I'll tell you about it. If you like. But not here.
Yes, though. I think so.

I see that someone won the game. Interesting choice. It's different from the usual.

...Oh? [ He's pleased you caught on, bb. ] How is it different?

And it's different from your usual theme. I'm rusty still, but it's not as [pen taps] dark as usual.

Ah, maybe. Depends on how you view things. "Lovers are lunatics," is the phrase. Seemed apt.
no subject
The phrase seemed apt? I won't argue the meaning, but does it have to do with whatever's going on?

As for the meaning... alas, I do not know. While I recognize the language — Latin, isn't it? — it's not a phrase I'm familiar with. I can only wager it has something to do with love, if one of those words is a form of 'amo'.
no subject
Latin. And you're on the right track.
I'll contact you later on your test and prize.
